SPORTS THERAPY

Sports Therapy aims to restore, maintain and maximise movement to relieve pain and increase quality of life, teaching you how to protect against re-injury keeping you active in the sport you love..  As Sports Therapists focus solely on musculo-skeletal rehabilitation and have a sport focused background, it makes this more attractive to individuals who are returning to exercise.

Offering treatments for sport related and non-sporting injuries such as ligament or muscle tears, as well as common conditions including back, shoulder, neck and joint pain. Sports therapy techniques can also treat muscle spasms and trigger point disorders along with other specific conditions including shoulder impingement, tennis or golfer’s elbow.

Sports Therapists are experts in musculoskeletal disorders and treat pain and injury through hands-on treatment and rehabilitation. Depending on the nature of your injury the sports therapy techniques used may include manual massage, therapeutic ultrasound and rehabilitation exercises.
